RenoMate ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the RenoMate mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

When you use RenoMate, we may collect the following information:

• Photos you upload: Images of rooms or properties that you submit for AI-powered renovation visualizations. These images are sent to third-party AI services for processing.
• Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for performance monitoring and crash reporting.
• Purchase information: Records of credit pack purchases processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Generate AI-powered renovation, staging, and paint visualizations from your photos
• Generate materials lists and cost estimates for renovation projects
• Process credit purchases and manage your account balance
• Improve our app's performance and user experience

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our features:

• Google Gemini API: Your photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI for image generation and analysis. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by their services.
• Apple StoreKit: All purchases are processed securely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or store payment details.

4. Data Storage

Your generated images and project data are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not store your photos or generated images on our servers. Photos sent to AI services for processing are not retained after the generation is complete.

5. Purchases & Credits

RenoMate uses a credit-based system. New users receive free credits. Additional credits can be purchased as consumable In-App Purchases through the App Store. Credit balances are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your payment information — all transactions are handled by Apple.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with third-party services as described in Section 3, solely for the purpose of providing the app's features.

7. Children's Privacy

RenoMate is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Retention

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data, including saved projects and generated images. Photos sent to AI services are processed in real-time and not retained.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your locally stored data at any time by deleting the app
• Delete individual saved projects within the app
• Request information about how your data is processed

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
